In a town as small as Ribbon Ridge and with a family as large as the Archers, even the best kept secrets don’t stay buried for long...

Tori Archer is married…well, on paper anyway. She hasn’t actually seen her husband since the disastrous morning after their impulsive Vegas wedding. The memories of their intense passion may still make her weak in the knees, but Tori knows their marriage was a mistake.

After six months filming abroad, television producer Sean Hennessy wants nothing more than to track down his sexy, captivating wife and get her into bed… fast. So when his boss sends him to Oregon to persuade the famous Archer sextuplets-the former stars of a reality TV show-to do a reunion special, Sean sees the perfect chance to win Tori back.

Only, Tori wants nothing to do with him and is determined to push him away. But their attraction is as hot as ever and Sean will do anything to prove their relationship was more than just a fling…because he knows that when real love happens, it changes everything.

“Id appreciate you doing that. And getting everyone else to do the same. Cades great. Just not for me. At least, not right now.”
Kyle nodded. “We only want you to be happy. You carry such a dark cloud.” He grazed his fingertips across her forehead.
She looked up at him from her five feet nine inches and allowed herself to smile. “Its lightening. Slowly. But it is. You being here helps a lot. Im so glad youre home.”
After four years living in Florida, hed returned last spring to help with The Alex, which had been Alexs intent. Hed established a trust for the remaining six of them, plus Derek, and a plan for them to renovate an old monastery into a premier Archer event space. His primary goal was for everyone to come back home—to find their family and their roots again—and most importantly, to appreciate them. Tori had done her part, acting as architect for the space and spending as much time here as her real job would allow. She had to travel back and forth to San Francisco regularly, but her boss had been great about adjusting her workload. Unfortunately that meant smaller, lower profile projects when shed gotten used to working on international jobs that had put her firmly in the limelight, a place she loved to be. Or had loved until her life had been turned upside down. Would she ever go back to that? Did she even want to?
Kyle smiled down at her and took off into the crowd. Tori finished her beer. Time for another. Or, she could just escape and go home. Home being her parentshouse where theyd all grown up.
Shed made her appearance, which pleased Dad, and now she could take off without guilt. Right after she told him she was leaving. Picking her way through the crowd, she nodded at people she knew, but realized there were increasingly more she didnt. The festival was attracting quite a range of people, a lot of non-Ribbon Ridgers who delighted in the small town nestled in the Willamette Valley with its wineries, shops and art galleries, and picturesque landscape. It was close enough to the big city to be accessible, but far enough out to feel like a destination. They were counting on that to sell The Alex as the premier destination property in the northern Willamette Valley.

Love the Archer family! Sean is amazing!  He is so sweet and patient with Tori, even at times when I didn't think she deserved it. Wonderful second chance romance in a beautiful setting. The family is great and I can't wait for the rest of the siblings to find romance!

Darcy Burke is the USA Today bestselling author of hot, action-packed historical and sexy, emotional contemporary romance. Darcy wrote her first book at age 11, a happily-ever-after about a swan addicted to magic and the female swan who loved him, with exceedingly poor illustrations.
A native Oregonian, Darcy lives on the edge of wine country with her guitar-strumming husband, their two hilarious kids-who each seem to have inherited the writing gene in some form-and two Bengal cats. In her "spare" time Darcy is a serial volunteer enrolled in a 12-step program where one learns to say "no," but she keeps having to start over. Her happy places are Disneyland and Labor Day weekend at the Gorge.
