I love friends to lovers romances, especially those were they've been in love with each other for years, but never did anything about their feelings!  Drake and Serena have been in love since they were kids, but they have kept their feelings for each other to themselves and kept their relationship to a very close friendship. Serena's past has kept Drake from starting anything with her, afraid that he would be the reason she does not pursue her dreams. Serena thinks that Drake sees her as just a friend. When she accepts a job away from home, all these feelings intensify and they can't help but finally giving into them. They have to figure out how to make living in two different cities work, and Drake amazing and figuring out how to spend more time together. I loved these two and their group of friends.
