An on-stage attack left Honor Blackwood with more scars than just the one on her face. It’s been ten years since she left her spot as Nashville’s brightest country music star. Is now the time to return? And is she brave enough to do it?

Country rebel and rock star, Jared ‘Jed’ Marshall is hot property on the Tennessee music scene in more ways than one. He’s wild, he’s sexy and everybody wants a piece of him. But when he sets his sights on Honor, is it pure attraction or just distraction on his mind?

Honor’s record label sign the ex-boyfriend that dumped her and suddenly going back to her old life is harder than she thought. Can she get a new contract? Will she get to perform at the Marlon Festival? Or will Dan Steele destroy everything?

When a secret from the past becomes public knowledge it’s no longer just about the music. Are all the people in her life lying to her to get what they want? And who is really behind the anonymous gifts she keeps getting sent?

Join the country scene to find out!

Honor had a tough childhood in the system and does not trust many people. After the attack that left her scarred, she lives a quiet life working at her friend Mia's record store.  Jed is the hottest star in country music and is looking for an opening act for his upcoming tour.  When he hears an old song of Honor's on the radio, he knows he must have her on his tour.

Jed approaches Honor regarding the tour, but even after she refuses him, he doesn't give up Honor is scared to return to the spotlight, and as Jed helps her work through her fears, she learns to trust him.  They slowly build a friendship that ends up turning into more.  They talk about their secrets, but Jed has a big secret that she refuses to hear about.

Unfortunately this secret comes out and Honor judges Jed without listening to the whole story.  Fortunately, Honors friends have her back and convince her to talk to Jed and let him explain to her what really happened.

The story was sweet, funny, romantic and even had a hint of danger.  Overall it is a great story about overcoming tragedy and moving on from the scars that are carried both on the inside and the outside.
