Not having read any of the previous books, I can say that this book can stand on its own. Wade's family is amazing, I'm not sure many people would welcome someone with Mia's baggage so easily and quickly. As for Wade and Mia as a couple, I think they are a great match. Even after years of no communication, these two picked up as if they had just seen each other recently. My only gripe is that I missed having more drama surrounding the issues that finally bring Mia to Wade's door, but overall I enjoyed the story.
