“Fine. I’ll just sit up here and watch you work. Is that what you
want?” She raised her hands, gesturing, and felt the robe gap. She was naked
underneath and reached to tighten the robe around her, and saw his eyes darken.
“No,” he said, “that’s not what I want at the moment.” Her pulse raced
