grinned and the potency of it stole her breath. His dimples should come with an
advisory label: Will cause hearts to
flutter and panties to spontaneously combust. “What about you?”
“What
about me?” She swallowed the lump sitting in the back of her throat.
“You
haven’t told me why you’re here.”
She
took a step back. His intuitiveness made her jumpy. But worse, his nearness
made her light-headed and warm in places she shouldn’t be. She seriously
thought about stopping the conversation by flinging her arms around his neck
and kissing him until talking was the last thing he wanted to do.
