Night Storm (Bones and Gemstones #1) by Tracey Devlyn - Book Blitz, Review and Giveaway

Night Storm
(Book One, Bones and Gemstones Series
by Tracey Devlyn

A promising young apothecary picks up the pieces of her life, only to collide with the ruthless thief-taker who once shattered her dreams and her heart.

When the love of his life chose an apprenticeship in Scotland over his marriage proposal, thief-taker Cameron Adair buried himself in his work--building an unmatched network of underworld spies. Forged by his reputation as a ruthless, greed-driven businessman, he has amassed a fortune. But he has one vulnerable spot in his armor--a brilliant, green-eyed apothecary, who continues to haunt his heart. When a murder investigation brings him back into contact with Charlotte Fielding, Cameron sets aside the past to find a killer and to distract a headstrong apothecary, clue by clue, kiss by kiss.

Also, for a limited time, Tracey will be giving away the first short story she ever published—HIS SECRET DESIRE—re-edited and re-packaged with a beautiful new cover. FREE for a LIMITED TIME at the following locations.

Great second chance historical romance!  It was almost like you could feel the chemistry between Cameron and Charlotte from the moment she found him at her down needing medical attention.  Cameron feels it would be too dangerous to bring Charlotte into his life again because of his work, and Charlotte is still hurt over his reaction to her apprenticeship five years ago.  They were both being stubborn about denying their feelings for each other, but eventually give into them.  I loved the tenderness in Cameron, an even though he tried to deny it, Charlotte saw straight through him.  Charlotte is a strong heroine who has learned to stand on her own.  The supporting characters were great, I can't wait to find out more about Julies and the past that haunts him.
